logoayiccAYICC has embarked on a new and more exciting task for the next couple of months to build the capacity of young people in their countries through establishing and strengthening National Youth Networks on Climate Change. This follows the mandate and vision of AYICC and the success stories we have heard form existing national networks like the Ghana National Youth Climate Coalition, The Nigerian Youth climate Coalition and the AYICC- Kenya.
If you would like to help us establish national youth networks in any of the African countries, kindly contact Grace Mwaura on grace.mwaura@ayicc.net and Ibrahim Ceesay at ceesaydelight@yahoo.com
You can also contact them if you would like to receive customized reports on the progress of National Chapters Building and in what ways you can enhance the process.Guide to Establishing AYICC National Chapters

Developing national chapters is a viable way of taking bold strides towards mitigating climate change. I for one have already started the battle at regional level by establishing Youth Action Against Climate Change working in the northern districts of Malawi. I am eager to assist in Establishing a vibrant Malawi chapter of ayicc.

Young scientists, i think it is the time that we should realize the conspiracy behind climate change. Evidently it was reported that December 2009 was the 14th coolest year for the last 115 years by the United States department of commerce. Being a meteorologist, Al Gore documentary “the inconvenient truth” is just a conspiracy and fully rhetorical. The data used in the documentary is fully manipulated. Surprisingly, the national climatic data center states 1934 as the hottest recorded year and on the other hand, NASA terms 1998 as the hottest year. Bu weather is cyclic, where the earth has undergone three temperature shifts in the past millennium. One was the medieval warm period that ended in 1300 followed by little ice age which lasted until 1850 which took over to the modern warming period and appears to have ended in 1989
